Royal Oaks Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Grafton, Ohio.
Royal Oaks Golf Club Course opened for play in 1995. The course was designed by the father/son team of Max Jalowiec, Sr. & Max Jalowiec, Jr.
Royal Oaks Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland-style track. There are three sets of tees and the course plays from 4,439 to 5,729-yards. The gently rolling fairways are tree-lined and lead to greens that vary in size and contour, and are moderate in speed. Water comes into play on eight holes in the form of several lakes. Although the course is relatively short overall, its' design places accuracy at a premium, and the course is best suited to mid/high handicappers.
The former Royal Oaks Golf Course is officially part of the Lorain County Metro Parks. In 2015, the park district announced the acquisition of the closed 97-acre golf course Friday. The deal was achieved with the help of the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, a nonprofit that has worked to preserve more than 550 properties and nearly 40,000 acres in northern and eastern Ohio, according to a news release.
